Your trust and privacy are essential to us. This Data Security Overview explains how The Husband Helper protects your information and keeps your account safe.

Our commitment is simple: your data belongs to you, and only you.

Husband Helper uses industry-standard security practices, including:

• Google Firebase Authentication for secure login
   
• Firestore Database Rules to isolate user data
   
• Firebase Storage Rules to protect uploaded photos
   
• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission
   
• Internal access limitations that prevent staff from viewing personal user content
   

We never store raw passwords, payment details, or unnecessary personal information.

Your login is protected through Firebase Authentication:

• Secure password hashing
   
• Brute-force protection
   
• Authentication tokens
   
• Email verification (optional future feature)
   

Data is stored in:

• Firestore Database (notes, favorites, preferences, etc.)
   
• Firebase Storage (photos)
   

Each user’s data is isolated from every other user.
Access is allowed only when authenticated under your unique user ID.

Uploaded photos:

• Are linked only to your account
   
• Are not scanned, sold, or shared
   
• Cannot be accessed by other users
   
• Are not used for analytics or machine learning
   

All data sent between your device and our servers is encrypted.

No unencrypted communication is allowed at any point.

We do not:

• Track GPS locations
   
• Access your phone’s contacts or messages
   
• Record audio or use your microphone
   
• Run background tracking
   
• Sell or share data with advertisers
   
• Mine your information for profit
   

We designed the entire app for trust, not surveillance.

To protect your privacy:

• No employees can access your private notes or photos.
   
• Technical access to metadata may occur for troubleshooting only with your permission.
   
• All system-level access is logged and monitored.
   
• Only essential staff have limited developer-level access to maintain system health.
   

You may request:

• Deletion of any individual entry
   
• Full account deletion
   
• Complete removal of stored photos
   
• Future data export (coming soon)
   

When you delete your account:

• All data is permanently erased from Firestore and Storage
   
• Deleted data cannot be recovered
   
• We do not keep copies or backups tied to your name or account

We use the following trusted services:

• Google Firebase (database, authentication, storage)
   
• Google Analytics (anonymous) for performance insights
   

We do not use advertising networks or marketing trackers inside the App.

Affiliate links inside the App may direct you to third-party websites, but those sites operate under their own security and privacy policies.

We continually:

• Update Firebase Rules
   
• Patch vulnerabilities
   
• Review logs
   
• Monitor for attempted misuse
   
• Improve encryption and authentication methods
   
• Enhance app-level protections
   

Our goal is long-term, uncompromising privacy.
